Bisquick Scone Recipe

I understand that in England there's a Bisquick Scone recipe on the back of the bisquick box. Bisquick has a biscuit recipe on the box in the U.S. Here's a pretty good supply of scone recipes that use Bisquick.

Interesting Note About Bisquick

General Mills first created bisquick in the 1930's. Their advertising slogan at that time was "Makes Anybody a Perfect Biscuit Maker."

Innovative cooks quickly learned that bisquick would work for many baking recipes and recipes were developed for coffee cakes, quick breads, shortcakes, cobblers and of course scones.

General mills noticed the trend and took advantage of it by changing their slogan to "A World of Baking in a Box".

Pick a bisquick scone recipe from the above and give it a try. It works pretty well.
