Chocolate Chip Bar Cookie Recipe
This Chocolate Chip Bar Cookie Recipe is very easy make and will please all chocolate lovers with the buttery flavor, chocolate chips and walnuts.
Chocolate Chip Bar Cookie Recipe2 cups butter, softened 1 1/2 cups sugar 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar 4 eggs 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 1 teaspoon water 4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking soda 1 1/2 teaspoons salt 3 cups semisweet chocolate chips 1 cup chopped walnuts
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and the sugars. Add the eggs, vanilla and water and then beat until smooth. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt and then gradually add to the creamed mixture and mix well. Fold in the chocolate chips and nuts. Press the mixture into two greased 15-in. x 10-in. x 1-in. baking pans. Bake the cookies at 375 degrees for 15-18 minutes or until they are golden brown. Make a batch of these for your family. They will love them! They're just like chocolate chip cookies in a bar.
