Chocolate Chip Cake Mix Cookie

Throw a handful of chocolate chips together with a box of cake mix and you have a Chocolate Chip Cake Mix Cookie. Nothing could be easier than that but they are oh so good!

Chocolate Chip Cake Mix Cookie

1 pkg. Duncan Hines golden cake mix
1/2 cup melted butter
2 Tbsp. Water
2 eggs
1 cup or 6 oz. bag semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Blend the cake mix, butter, water and eggs and then stir in the chocolate pieces. Drop the dough from teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 11 minutes (top of cookie will look pale). Cool on the cookie sheet for 1 minute. Remove to rack to finish cooling.

Busy Mother Chocolate Chip Cookie

1 pkg. cake mix (2 layer) white, yellow or chocolate chip
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2/3 cup oil
2 eggs
1 cup chocolate chips or butterscotch morsels or 1/2 cup each
Nuts if desired

Blend the cake mix, flour, oil and eggs. Stir in the chips and nuts. Drop from the dough from a teaspoon (1/2 teaspoon) onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 6 to 7 minutes. Do not over bake. The cookies will be light. Cool for one minute on the cookie sheet then remove to a cooling rack. Makes 3 1/2 dozen.

For Variation: Use pizza pan and make one large cookie; decorate.

Double Chocolate Chip Cookie

1 pkg. Duncan Hines butter fudge cake mix
1/2 cup flour
2/3 cup oil
2 eggs
1 cup (6 oz.) chocolate chips

Blend the cake mix, flour, oil and eggs. Stir in the chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoons onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 9 to 11 minutes until cookie tests done with toothpick. Do not over bake. Cool on the cookie sheet 1 minute and then remove to rack to finish cooling.

Kids Chocolate Chip Cake Mix Cookies

1 pkg. white cake mix
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 Tbsp water
1 egg
1 pkg. (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease cookie sheet. Empty the cake mix into a bowl. Add the oil, water and the egg. Blend until well mixed and smooth. Add the chocolate chips and stir into the batter. Drop by teaspoon onto cookie sheet about 2-inches apart. Bake 12 to 15 minutes. When done, remove from cookie sheet with spatula.
