Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookie Recipes

In my opinion Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookie Recipes are the best chocolate chip cookies. This recipe makes chocolate chip oatmeal cookies that are really yummy for the tummy.

Try a batch and pass them out to friends and family as cookie gifts. They are also nice on your Christmas cookie tray. Or for that matter any holiday.

Yummy For The Tummy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

2 cups butter
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup confectioners' sugar
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
3 cups rolled oats
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Line half sheet pans with silpat baking mats.

In a large bowl beat the butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until well blended. Beat in the brown sugar and confectioners' sugar. If you have a stand mixer it really makes this work easy.

Combine the flour, baking soda, salt and ground cinnamon.

Stir the flour mixture into the sugar mixture. Once the flour and sugar mixtures are well combined stir in the rolled oats and semisweet chocolate chips.

Scoop out dough with a cookie scoop and roll the dough into balls. Place the cookies 2 inches apart onto the silpat line half sheet pans.

Bake the cookies for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven until they are lightly browned. DO NOT OVERBAKE!

Allow the cookies to cool on the sheet pans for about 5 minutes before removing them to a wire rack to cool completely.
