Chocolate Chunk Cookie Recipe
Lots of chocolate in this chocolate chunk cookie recipe! Chocolate chunks and chocolate syrup all baked together. Rich and chewy, they are quick and easy to make, and if you can keep your hands off them, they will last for 5 days in an airtight container. Chewy Chocolate Chocolate Chunk Cookie RecipeIngredients2 1/2 cups all purpose flour Preheat the oven to 350F. Sift together the flour with the baking soda and kosher salt, then set it aside. With an electric mixer, cream the softened butter with the granulated sugar and the brown sugar. Add the eggs, one by one, and then add the vanilla extract, the corn syrup and the chocolate syrup. With the mixer on medium low speed, add the flour mixture to the creamed butter and sugar and mix until just blended. Fold in the chocolate chips with a wooden spoon. Use a 1/4 measuring cup to scoop up a level measure of the dough. Drop onto an ungreased cookie sheet, and leave at least 2 inches between each scoop. Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes. Let the cookies set on the sheet pans for a few minutes, then remove them to wire racks to cool completely. Good To Know - This would be a good time to use up any pieces of chocolate leftovers, from trick or treat goodies to Valentine's hearts. Just chop all the chunks to the same size, and keep the total amount between 1 1/2 to 2 cups. More Chocolate Cookie RecipesChocolate Christmas Cookie You Might Need: |
