Easy Brownie Recipe

The only thing easier than this Easy Brownie Recipe is to buy a brownie mix from the grocery. The second recipe is for a homemade brownie mix and is better than anything from the grocery.

Either easy brownie recipe would be great for cookies as gifts but the second one especially so.

Easy Brownie Recipe

1 1/2 cups flour
1 Tbsp. Salt
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
Nuts
8 Tbsp. Hershey’s cocoa
2 tsp. Vanilla
1 cup oil
1/2 cup water

Place all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix well. Add the nuts. Bake in 11 x 15-inch pan at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Frosting For Easy Brownie Recipe:

1/4 cup water
12 marshmallows
3 Tbsp. Hershey’s cocoa
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla

Heat the marshmallows, water and cocoa until the marshmallows melt. Cool. Add the sugar and vanilla. Beat well. Spread on the brownies.

This brownie recipe mix will make about 5 batches of brownies. That makes it great for cookies as gifts. Each time the lucky recipients bake up a batch they’re going to remember your great cookies gifts.

Quick and Easy Brownie Recipe Mix

Brownie Mix:

4 cups all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. Baking powder
1 Tbsp. Salt
8 cups sugar
2 1/2 cups Hershey’s cocoa
2 cups shortening

Combine the flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and Hershey’s cocoa and stir well. Cut in the shortening with a pastry blender until the mixture resembles coarse meal. Place in an airtight container. Store in a cool dry place or in the refrigerator for up to 6 weeks.

This brownie recipe mix will make about 5 batches of brownies

Quick and Easy Brownie Recipe

3 cups easy brownie recipe mix3 eggs, beaten1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract1/2 cup chopped pecans

Combine all the ingredients, stirring until well mixed. Spoon the mixture into a greased and floured 8-inch square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Cut into squares. Yield: 16 brownies.
