Free Easy Cookie Recipes are always welcome at my house. This one is not only free and easy but also delicious. If you like chocolate you'll love this soft, fudgy brownie.

Free Easy Fudgy Brownies Recipe

4 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate, chopped
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cups white sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 9x9 inch square pan.

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Remove the butter from the heat and stir in the chocolate until smooth and well blended.

Mix in the sugar and the eggs and then stir in the flour until just blended.

Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared pan.

Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out "not quite" clean. If you bake to long they will be dry and crumbly.

Cool before cutting into squares.

Chocolate chips or nuts make a great addition to this free easy cookie recipe.
