Peanut Butter Frosting

This peanut butter frosting recipe is nothing more than sweetened peanut butter with additional vanilla flavoring, thinned down with milk to a spreading consistency.

Peanut Butter Frosting Recipe

1/3 c. Smuckers All Natural peanut butter
3 c. powdered sugar
1 1/2 tsp. Vanilla
4 to 5 Tbsp. Milk

In a mixer bowl blend the peanut butter and the sugar until smooth. Stir in the vanilla and the milk until smooth and of spreading consistency.

Have you ever heard the old saying "You can't make a silk purse out of a sows' ear"? Well you can if you want to but the quality is not the same.

Other brands have a long list of ingredients including emulsifiers. Sometimes the peanut oil is removed and replaced with cheaper oil.
