Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookie Recipe

Peanut butter and oatmeal are great cookie companions.

Each Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookie Recipe here uses the combination in a very tasty way.

If you're in a hurry try the no bake version. It's quick and easy and still has the great taste of the peanut butter and the oatmeal.

 

Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookie Recipe

1 cup margarine
1 cup Smucker's All Natural peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 tsp. Baking soda
1 tsp. Salt
1 cup flour
1 1/2 cups Quaker quick cooking oatmeal

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

In a mixer bowl cream the margarine, peanut butter and the sugars together. Add the eggs one at a time incorporating very well after each addition. Add the vanilla and thoroughly mix in.

Combine the baking soda, salt and 1 cup of flour in a separate bowl. When thoroughly combined add to the peanut butter mixture and fold together.

Add the 1 1/2 cups of quick cooking oatmeal and thoroughly mix.

Roll into one inch balls and place two inches apart on a parchment lined baking sheet. Flatten with a fork in a crosshatch patter.

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until the edges just begin to brown and the centers are still soft.

No Bake Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookie Recipe

1 stick margarine
1/2 cup milk
2 cup sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla
1/2 cup Smucker's All Natural chunky peanut butter
2 1/4 cups Quaker oatmeal

Melt the margarine in a saucepan. Add the milk and sugar and boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove the mixture from the heat and add in the vanilla.

Stir in the peanut butter and stir until it incorporates. Stir in the oatmeal until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined.

Spoon onto waxed paper and allow the cookies to cool.

The No Bake cookie is convenient but either Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookie Recipe is delicious.
